Mid-Western Minnesota adventure
Yesterday i want on a class trip around to DNR land and Historic sites. We went to a burnt down mansion from the 1800s. I caught 4 young Fox Snakes (Elaphe gloydi)and 2 Five-lined skinks (Eumeces fasciatus).

Bot Fly Larvae
Bot Fly Larvae are a parasitic type of fly larvae. It all starts with a fly laying eggs in the mosquito. then the eggs atch underneath the mosquito's's wings and drop onto the host's skin. then the larvae start to grow burying into the ski and growing at an unreal rate. then when metamorphasized, the crawl out as a new bot fly.
